New Jersey Sends David Hale and Fifth-Round Selection to FlamesEast Rutherford, NJ - Feb. 27, 2007 – The New Jersey Devils acquired a third-round choice in the 2007 National Hockey League Entry Draft from the Calgary Flames, in exchange for defenseman David Hale and a fifth-round selection in the 2007 Entry Draft. The announcement was made by Devils’ CEO/President/General Manager Lou Lamoriello. Hale, 25, is in his third NHL season, and fourth as a professional. He had one assist and 26 penalty minutes in 43 games this season, and also appeared in two games with Lowell (AHL). The 6-2, 215 lb. native of Colorado Springs, CO has career totals of nine assists and 119 penalty minutes in 146 NHL games. |
