Take one look behind the stone pillars at the Belvedere Vodka Ice Lounge, and a single word comes to mind: cool. Spanning sections 7-9 on the Grand Concourse, just beneath the arena’s colorful mural, the club looks like a chic, big city bar for Hollywood starlets. Inviting, ivory-colored couches and lounge areas sprawl across the floor. The glacier blue walls, decked with black and white Devils photography, emit a relaxing sensation, echoed by the reflective tabletops of two-dozen booths and dining tables.
Directly across the rink, the cool décor is swapped for crimson-tiled columns and a warm ambience at the Fire Lounge, magnified by fiery red lighting. Located at sections 18-20 on the Grand Concourse, between the PNC Bank and Verizon Towers, the Fire Lounge is an ideal place for Devils Club Seat holders. The look is nothing short of “devilish.”
In addition to its spirited design and local flavor, the Fire Lounge is home to Devils telecasts. Fans can get an up-close view of Mike “Doc” Emrick and Glenn “Chico” Resch calling all the game action on Fox Sports Net. Open 90 minutes prior to game time, the lounges are available to Club Seat holders, and are accessible from the Grand Concourse. Attendants at the door will stamp guests’ hands and punch their tickets for easy re-entry. Sushi and carving stations – featuring tender roast beef, turkey or pork – are open through the first period, and guests are encouraged to enjoy the complimentary concessions offered throughout the game, from chicken fingers and fries to gourmet pizzas. With ample seating capacity and a bevy of flat-screen plasma televisions, it's a great place to settle in for a long winter's night. The event doesn’t have to end with the sound of the final horn, though. For up to an hour after Devils games, Club Seat holders are encouraged to mingle in the lounges. So while you wait for that late train to come into the station, your hardest decision should be whether to go to the arena’s local hot spot and stay warm with a beer at the Fire Lounge, or hit up the coolest place at the Rock and chill with a martini at the Ice Lounge. To inquire about Club Seating at these lounges, call 1-800-NJ-DEVIL.
