With his penchant for punishing open-ice hits, Vishnevski was one of the Devils' bruising forces in 2007-08. Signed as a free agent last July, the 6-2, 215-lb. blueliner had a knack for making unsuspecting opponents pay the price as they tried leading a rush into Devils territory.
The native of Kharkov, Ukraine, played 69 games in his first season as a Devil, collecting two goals and five assists for seven points to go with 50 penalty minutes. But Vishnevski made his biggest impact in the trenches, where he was second in hits (140) to David Clarkson (150).
Today, NJD TV features a sampling of his best from the past season.
