Henrique, 18, posted 20 goals and 24 assists with Windsor (OHL) in 2007-08, his second straight 44-point campaign with the Spitfires (23g-21a in '06-07).
The 5-11, 180-lb. native of Brantford, Ontario, is projected by Central Scouting as a high-energy role player, and says he patterns his game after Mike Modano.
He played seven years for the Brantford minor hockey association and played two years in Burford minor hockey before joining Windsor.
"Adam is very responsible defensively, great on faceoffs, strong on the puck and has quick hands around the net," said Windsor coach Bob Boughner.
Henrique, who was seen as having an outside shot of going in the first round, was ranked 65th among North American prospects.
