Wolhberg, who turns 18 on July 18, scored 14 goals and 11 assists in 53 games with the Under-18 team for the National Team Development Program in 2007-08.
"He's a terrific two-way player and a big-time goal scorer," former coach Kyle Krug told USAHockey.com.
The 6-0, 192-lb. native of South Lyon, Mich., will attend the University of Michigan next season.
In 2006-07, Wohlberg finished second in scoring on the U-17 team, with 31 points (15g-16a), including six power-play goals. He carried a team-high 147 PIMs.
Wohlberg's 34 goals and 70 assists in 2005-06 helped lead Honeybaked (Midwest Elite Hockey League) to the 2006 Michigan AAA state title.
