Devils select Berube with their final pick of the 2008 Entry Draft

newjerseydevils.com – The Devils selected left wing Jean-Sebastien Berube in the seventh round, 205th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft. Berube, who measures 6-3, 183 lbs., had a final ranking of 166 among all North American prospects.

The big left winger made major gains in 2007-08, his second season with Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL). The native of Matane, Quebec collected 12 goals and 12 assists to go with 118 PIMs in 64 games.

Berube's previous campaign with the Huskies saw him tally three goals and seven assists fo 10 points in 40 games, with 22 PIMs.
