Devils re-sign Clarkson and Tallackson

Clarkson, 24, scored nine goals and 13 assists while playing in 81 games last season, his first full NHL campaign. The 6-1, 200 lb. right wing posted a club-high 183 PIMs.
The Toronto-born right wing was acquired by the Devils as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He made his pro debut with Albany (AHL) in 2006-07, before making his NHL debut on March 15, 2007.
Clarkson played his junior hockey at both Belleville and Kitchener (OHL).

The 6-5, 215-lb. native of Grafton, N.D., joined the Devils after a four-season career at the University of Minnesota (WCHA) where he was a member of the Gophers' 2002 and 2003 NCAA Championship teams.
Tallackson was New Jersey's second choice, 53rd overall, 2002 Entry Draft.
