newjerseydevils.com – Former Devils defenseman Ken Daneyko was on hand Wednesday morning at the New York Stock Exchange to help ring the opening bell.
Daneyko joined National Hockey League Commissioner Gary Bettman, and New York Islanders Andy Sutton (25) and Chris Campoli (14).
Daneyko spent 20 seasons in a Devils uniform, and holds the club record for most games (1,283) and most penalty minutes (2,519). A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Daneyko became the second Devil to have his number retired when his No. 3 was raised to the rafters on March 24, 2006.
