The poppy, placed on the left lapel in order to be closer to the heart, is a symbolic token taken from Canadian physician and Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae's World War I poem In Flanders Field.
This Veterans Day, the Devils salute the sacrifices of all the men and women who have served our Armed Forces.
