Devils reduce training camp roster to 42
The Devils have reduced their training camp roster to 42 players, by assigning 13 players to Lowell (AHL) and returning five players to their junior teams.

Assigned to Lowell were: goaltenders Dave Caruso and Mike McKenna; defensemen Matt Cohen and Matt Taormina; and forwards Eric Castonguay, Kevin Cormier, Stephen Gionta, Brad Mills, Kory Nagy, Nathan Perkovich, Louis Robitaille, Brad Snetsinger, and Myles Stoesz. Returned to their junior teams were: defensemen Matt Delahey (Regina, WHL) and Harry Young (Windsor, OHL); and forwards Ashton Bernard (Cape Breton, QMJHL), Jean-Sebastien Berube (Rouyn-Noranda, QMJHL), and Adam Henrique (Windsor, OHL).

The Devils' current training camp roster is as follows:

Goaltenders (4): Martin Brodeur, Gerald Coleman, Yann Danis, and Jeff Frazee.

Defensemen (15): Matt Corrente, Rob Davison, Tyler Eckford, Mark Fraser, Eric Gelinas, Andy Greene, Jay Leach, Olivier Magnan-Grenier, Paul Martin, Mike Mottau, Cory Murphy, Johnny Oduya, Bryce Salvador, Alexander Urbom, and Colin White.

Left wings (6): Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, Jay Pandolfo, Zach Parise, Andrew Peters, Brian Rolston, and Alexander Vasyunov.

Centers (8): Patrice Cormier, Patrik Elias, Rod Pelley, Tim Sestito, Michael Swift, Ben Walter, Travis Zajac, and Dainius Zubrus.

Right wings (9): Niclas Bergfors, David Clarkson, Patrick Davis, Matt Halischuk, Jamie Langenbrunner, Nick Palmieri, Ilkka Pikkarainen, Brendan Shanahan, and Vladimir Zharkov.
