Newark, NJ – The Devils today assigned four players to Lowell (AHL), reducing their training camp roster to 29 players. The announcement was made by Devils’ President/CEO/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.
Assigned to Lowell were: goaltender Jeff Frazee; and forwards Olivier Magnan-Grenier, Ben Walter, and Vladimir Zharkov.
The Devils’ current training camp depth chart is as follows (listed alphabetically):
Goaltenders (2): Martin Brodeur and Yann Danis.
Defensemen (10): Rob Davison, Mark Fraser, Andy Greene, Jay Leach, Paul Martin, Mike Mottau, Cory Murphy, Johnny Oduya, Bryce Salvador, and Colin White.
Left wings (5): Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, Jay Pandolfo, Zach Parise, Andrew Peters, and Brian Rolston.
Centers (6): Patrik Elias, Rob Niedermayer, Rod Pelley, Tim Sestito, Travis Zajac, and Dainius Zubrus.
Right wings (6): Niclas Bergfors, David Clarkson, Matt Halischuk, Jamie Langenbrunner, Ilkka Pikkarainen, and Brendan Shanahan.
