11:32a - Working on breakouts. Lemaire barked that his defensemen had to, "Make the right play," referring to the first pass out of the zone.
11:20a - Team doing a five-on-five drill in which the defending group plays without sticks. Jacques Lemaire could be heard telling Leblond, "You don't have a stick... what are you going to do? Take a man."
Devils are on the ice for their final practice before Saturday's home opener against the Flyers.
The top four lines are:
Parise-Zajac-Langenbrunner
Rolston-Zubrus-Bergfors
Halischuk-Niedermayer-Clarkson
Leblond-Pelley-Peters
Andy Greene, a defenseman, is centering Jay Pandolfo and Ilkka Pikkarainen.
Defensemen are Martin, Oduya, Murphy, White, Salvador, Mottau. Goaltenders are Brodeur and Danis.
