Devils fall to Rangers
Devils can't draw even, fall 3-2 to Rangers.

Rangers ice with 1:51 left. Devils are controlling the play.

Rangers ice it again with 2:02 left. These final four minutes have been all Devils in NY territory.

Drury ices it with 3:30 left. Devils gaining some ground here with possession in Rangers' zone.

Devils looking for the equalizer with 5:26 left in 3rd.

Clarkson and Aaron Voros wrap up at the benches, both off for roughing with 8:47 left in 3rd.

Brodeur with a big save on Chris Higgins' wraparound with 11:35 left in 3rd.

Devils' PPs killed off. 17:16 remaining in 3rd.

Now 1:32 remaining on 5-on-4. Callahan out of the box, Drury still in for boarding.

Devils have a 28-second 5-on-3 PP coming 37 seconds into the third period. Devils call a timeout.

Kotalik one-timer from left point ties the game at 2-2 on PP at 16:23 of first. Rangers wound up with a power play after Oduya came to Martin's defense over Drury's knee-on-knee hit. Oduya was slapped with a double-minor for roughing, while Drury got two for kneeing.

Chris Drury collides knee-on-knee with Paul Martin as Martin controlled the puck in Devils' territory. Oduya piles on top of the Rangers' captain. 3:42 left in the first period. Looks like Oduya getting an extra two, served by Pikkarainen.

Devils kill it off, have killed two of three Rangers' PP in period.

The Devils will start the ZZ Pops line of Zach Parise - Travis Zajac - Jamie Langenbrunner with Paul Martin and Johnny Oduya on defense, and Martin Brodeur in goal. Rangers are starting Vinny Prospal-Brandon Dubinsky-Marian Gaborik with Wade Redden and Matt Gilroy on defense and Henrik Lundqvist in net.

• Ilkka Pikkarainen has been activated from IR and will make his NHL debut tonight. Brendan Shanahan was moved to the team's non-roster list.

• Tonight's scratches are Andy Greene, Matt Halischuk, and Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond.
