Devils win in Sunrise
All over in Florida as the Devils win their second in a row. New Jersey led 1-0 and 2-1, and Clarkson's PPG put the Devils over the top.

Clarkson's first of the season breaks the 2-2 tie with 3:35 left in regulation. Clarkson redirects a Zajac pass on the power play.

Florida's Stephen Weiss ties it up at 2 at 14:37 of third period. He collected a pass from Dmitry Kulikov at the Panthers' blueline and skated all the way to the bottom of the left circle for a wristshot over Martin Brodeur's glove.

Zajac misconnects on 2-on-1 with Jamie Langenbrunner as David Clarkson's interference penalty expired at 4:29 of third. Langenbrunner's pass went off the heel of Zajac's stick.

Ready for the third period...

**Zajac has tied a career high with goals in three straight games, and has four points over that stretch (3g-1a). Niedermayer has points in three straight (2g-1a).

**Devils have outshot Florida 29-13 after two periods.

Zajac (PP) restores the Devils lead on a blast from the high slot with 2:13 left in the second. Assists to Andy Greene and Brian Rolston, who has a pair of helpers in the game. Zajac retakes the team lead in goals (3).

Rostislav Olesz ties it for Florida at 13:57 of the second. Devils get caught in a change and Johnny Oduya's the only defender back on a 2-on-1 against Olesz and Radek Dvorak. Dvorak passes cross-slot from the right circle to Olesz for his first of the season.

Rob Niedermayer's second of the year has put the Devils ahead 1-0 at 11:14 of the second period. Paul Martin controlled the puck in deep behind the Panthers' net and centered in front to Niedermayer, who tied Travis Zajac for the team lead in goals.
