Veterans hit the ice Saturday morning to open 2010 training camp at Prudential Center.

The top line of the Group A session featured Ilya Kovalchuk on the right side with Zach Parise at left wing and Travis Zajac at center. Here's a look at the other trios:

Vladimir Zharkov - Adam Mair - Patrick Davis
Brian Rolston - David McIntyre - Marcus Nilson
PL Letourneau-Leblond - Brad Mills - Stephen Gionta

Group A defense: Andy Greene-Bryce Salvador, Anton Volchenkov-Eric Gelinas, Matt Corrente-Rob Davison

Goaltenders: Martin Brodeur and Johan Hedberg

Group A notes: Rolston needed stitches to repair a leg laceration.

The Group B session began at 11:30 a.m. Jason Arnott and Patrik Elias, who combined for the Stanley Cup-winning goal in 2000, were reunited on a line with Jamie Langenbrunner on the right wing. Here's how the other lines looked:

Dainius Zubrus - Jacob Josefson - David Clarkson
Alex Vasyunov - Rod Pelley - Mattias Tedenby
Chad Wiseman - Tim Sestito - Nathan Perkovich

Group B defense: Mark Fraser-Olivier Magnan-Grenier, Colin White-Matt Taormina, Henrik Tallinder-Alexander Urbom

Goaltenders: Jeff Frazee, Scott Wedgewood, Mike McKenna

The Group C session began at 2 p.m. The lines were:

Michael Swift - Adam Henrique - Nick Palmieri
JS Berube - Kory Nagy - Trevor Kell
Louis Robitaille - Darcy Zajac - Thomas Nesbitt

Group C defense: Tyler Miller, Mark Fayne, Harry Young, Dan Kelly, Chris Murray. (Myles Stoesz, normally a RW, skated on D.)

Goaltenders: Dave Caruso, Maxime Clermont, Shane Owen
