Devils\' new N.J. plate is a real dish
The Devils are about to add a plate to their three Stanley Cups.

Giving fans a new way to show their Devils pride, the team will unveil its official New Jersey license plate in a pre-game ceremony at Prudential Center on Wednesday, Nov. 10. The Devils host the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m.

Jersey's Team becomes the first sports franchise to be featured on a license plate in the Garden State.

Devils Owner Jeff Vanderbeek, New Jersey Lieutentant Governor Kim Guadagno, and Assemblyman Albert Coutinho will be joined on the ice by 10 local youth hockey players for a ceremonial faceoff. Staff from the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles will be on hand on the arena concourses with more information.

The application will be available that evening at for download and submission via mail. License plates will become available to order online starting Wednesday, Dec. 1, with delivery expected in eight to 12 weeks.

To reinforce its commitment to the community, the Devils will donate their portion of the proceeds to youth hockey in New Jersey through the Devils Alumni Association.
