Morning skate 11.12.10
After practicing with the team yesterday, Martin Brodeur took part in today's morning skate. The Devils host the Edmonton Oilers tonight at 7 p.m.

Brodeur has missed the last two games with a bruised right elbow he suffered in Chicago on Nov. 3.

• Jamie Langenbrunner was not on the ice this morning. Langenbrunner went into the boards heavily in Wednesday's meeting with Buffalo, and though he stayed in the game, he did not skate in yesterday's practice.

Alexander Vasyunov took Langenbrunner's place on the top line this morning. The Russian rookie skated well against the Sabres, and set up David Clarkson's goal in the second period.

• Brian Rolston is expected to return tonight from sports hernia surgery. He has been sidelined for the past 14 games.

• Defenseman Anssi Salmela practiced yesterday and skated this morning. He has not played this season following offseason knee surgery.

• Olivier Magnan missed practice to be with his wife and new baby, but is expected to be available for tonight's game.

• Mike McKenna, who was recalled to back up Johan Hedberg on Wednesday, has been assigned to Albany (AHL).

Today's lines:

Brian Rolston Dainius Zubrus David Clarkson
