Boucher reaches 49 with four-goal weekend
LW Reid Boucher posted back-to-back two goal games for Sarnia (OHL) over the weekend, increasing his OHL-leading total to 49. He struck twice Friday vs. Saginaw, then added another pair in the Sting's 6-5 win over Barrie on Sunday. He's currently on a four-game points streak (7g-1a) and has 9g-1a in six February games. Boucher leads the OHL in power-play goals (17) and game-winners (9), and is tied for fifth in points (74).

LW Ben Johnson matched a season-high with three points (1g-2a) in Windsor's (OHL) 9-4 win over Peterborough on Thursday. Johnson has five points in five February games (1g-4a), bringing his season totals to 15 goals and 14 assists.

LW Ben Thomson posted a goal in Kitchener's (OHL) 4-3 win over London on Sunday. Thomson has averaged a point per game in February (2g-3a, 5 gms) and now has 11 goals, 13 assists on the season. On Sunday, he reached the century mark in penalty minutes, which is tied for eighth most in the OHL.

C Graham Black registered an assist in consecutive games Saturday and Sunday for Swift Current (WHL). He's third on the club with 39 points (19g-20a).

D Reece Scarlett posted three helpers for Swift Current in their 3-1 win over Edmonton on Sunday. Scarlett, the Broncos' top-scoring defenseman, has points in nine of 11 games since Jan. 12 (1g-13a).

D Damon Severson snapped a three-game points drought on Sunday with an assist in Kelowna's (WHL) 3-2 victory over Everett. A loss to Portland on Friday ended Kelowna's home winning streak at 23 games, second longest in franchise history.

D Jon Merrill scored his first of the year for Michigan (CCHA) on Friday vs. Notre Dame. It the first goal since March 16 for Merrill, who missed the first three months of 2012-13 because of injury.
