Devils score highest ratings in nearly three years on MSG Plus
Devils season household rating up 143%, adults 25-54 up 164% compared to 2011-12
New York, NY (February 12, 2013) – Saturday’s MSG+ telecast of the New Jersey Devils vs. Pittsburgh Penguins registered a 1.25 Nielsen household rating and a 1.02 rating among Adults 25 to 54, the network’s highest household rating and key demo rating for the team since March 10, 2010 (Devils vs. Rangers: 1.35 HH / 1.23 A25-54).
Through 10 games this season, the average household rating for Devils telecasts is up 143% compared to the 2011-12 season (0.56 vs. 0.23). The average rating among Adults 25 to 54 is up 164% over the same period (0.37 vs. 0.14).
The Devils on MSG+, featuring Steve Cangialosi and Chico Resch in the booth, as well as reporter Deb Placey and analyst Ken Daneyko, continues tonight when the team faces the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. The game will be preceded by “Devils Game Night” at 6:30 p.m. and immediately followed by the “Devils Post Game Show.”
