Elias, Brunner out vs. Rangers

The Devils will be without Patrik Elias (sick) and Damien Brunner (upper body soreness) for tonight's game against the Rangers.

Elias did not take part in today's morning skate. His four points (2 goals, 2 assists) are second on the club behind Brunner (3 goals, 2 assists) and Marek Zidlicky (5 assists), who each have five.

Brunner skated this morning but left the ice early and did not return. Both Elias and Brunner will be out of the lineup for the first time this season.

The Devils (0-4-3) are seeking their first win of 2013-14 in their first meeting with their cross-river rivals.
