The Devils have used a goaltender roster exemption to recall goaltender Keith Kinkaid from Albany (AHL), it was announced today. Cory Schneider (lower body) did not make the trip to Boston.

Kinkaid will wear No. 1 and backup Martin Brodeur, who will make his fifth start of the season tonight at TD Garden. The Devils (1-5-4) are seeking their first road win.

Kinkaid, 24, is 2-1-1 with a 1.97 goals-against average and .912 save percentage with the Devils' top affiliate.
