Henrique named NHL\'s Third Star of the Week

Adam Henrique has been named the NHL's Third Star for the week ending March 9.

Henrique tallied an NHL-leading five goals last week, when the Devils (28-24-13) won two of three. He notched one goal in a 4-3 victory over the Red Wings on Tuesday, scored twice in a 7-4 loss in Detroit on Friday, and finished the week with a pair of goals in a 5-4 win over Carolina on Saturday.

The two-goal performance extended his goal streak to six games, during which he's tallied nine times. The only player with a longer goal streak in the League this season is Anaheim's Corey Perry, who scored in seven straight games from Nov. 29 to Dec. 11.

The 24-year-old Brantford, Ont., native leads the Devils in goals with a career-high 23 in 65 games.

Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin and Columbus Blue Jackets center Artem Anisimov were named First and Second Star, respectively.
