Reports to HR Director
Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall men’s basketball, and a variety of concerts, special events, and family shows, is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant. The successful candidate must be outgoing, energetic, and excellent at problem solving.
The Human Resources Assistant will provide support in the implementation of services, policies, and programs for Prudential Center. This individual will assist in the administration of day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, and organization development and training.
Areas of support responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
- posting job vacancies
- recruiting and staffing logistics
- screening applicants
- employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping
- performance management tracking
- assisting with employee relations
- company employee communication
- benefits administration and recordkeeping
- employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting
- assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- At least one year HR-related experience
- Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Must be available to work extended hours when required
- High energy; confident and assertive nature

Position: Inside Sales Representative
New Jersey Devils (Newark, NJ)
Reports To: Manager, Inside Sales
Description:
The New Jersey Devils are looking for ambitious, professional, self-motivated individuals who will be responsible for selling full season, partial, and group ticket packages. The Inside Sales Department will act as a starting ground for an opportunity to move into a senior level sales position. Must be able to work nights, as well as miscellaneous functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Sell New Jersey Devils full, partial, and group ticket packages to businesses and individuals in and around the NJ/NY Metro area
- Prospect new business from self-generated leads and provided lists
- Meet and exceed personal sales quota appointed by management
- Participate in game/event day duties as needed
- Provide excellent customer service
- Possess a thorough understanding of our company’s various ticketing plans and ticket policies in order to successfully sell to prospective customers
- Other duties as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Highly motivated with passion for sales
- Prior cold calling experience is preferred but not essential
- Make a required minimum of outbound sales calls each day
- Well organized and can manage time effectively
- Strong desire and work ethic
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to work in a structured, disciplined environment
$10/hour + commission + bonuses + advancement opportunities
