What are your hobbies? How do you occupy your time to plan for the future?
I love baking! Any chance I get I bake/decorate traditional treats like cupcakes and cookies but I also love trying new things like cake pops. Making desserts look like art is a fun challenge for me.
To plan for the future I surround myself with dance. I currently work at a dance studio and as a certified substitute teacher, specifically for dance. I plan to open a studio of my own in upcoming years.
Have you ever worked for a charity? Who/what would you like to volunteer for?
Recently I had the opportunity to work with March of Dimes-March for Babies. The experience was so inspiring and something everyone should do at least once in their life. I would love to work with Dizzy Feet Foundation, a charity who brings dance to underprivileged children.
What is it about New Jersey that you love?
I love the variety of entertainment. Between music, sports and festivals, you always have something fun to do.
I’m proud to be a Devil’s Dancer because…
I get to share my first love (Dance) with the greatest hockey fans in the world! The energy I feel from the crowd is indescribable.
Three fun facts about yourself:
1. I'm a Twin.
2. I'm a Gleek.
3. I own over 60 bottles of nail polish.
What was the greatest moment of your life thus far aside from becoming a Devils Dancer?
The greatest moment thus far in my life is being able to share what I've learned throughout the years with my students. Seeing the excitement on their faces when they master a step or perform on stage is the greatest gift of all. The satisfaction I get from teaching is something I know I will enjoy for years to come.
