White, participated in Play With the Pros Hockey Day in Pictou County near White’s hometown of New Glasgow, N.S.; event assists young players with the purchase of hockey equipment…Lists Braveheart as his favorite movie and Seinfeld as his favorite TV show…Listens to rock music, especially Metallica, prior to games…First job was driving a cart that delivered fruit and vegetables to the food terminal near his family’s home at age 15…Supports Clarky’s Kids, a Kitchener Rangers program that supports local families dealing with a child who has cancer…Raised money and participated with Lance Armstrong in a 75-mile charity bike ride in Kitchener on August 28, 2010 in support of children’s cancer charities and Grand River Hospital.
